PETIN ON YOUR DESKTOP

Install PetIn without the App Store.

The workspace can sit in your Dock as its own window — in a browser today, or as a Mac build that holds all three sites in one window. No store listing, no second account, nothing to re-learn: it is the same PetIn you already use.

No App Store · Same login as the website · Removed by dragging to the Trash
TWO WAYS TO INSTALL

Pick the one that matches
how you actually work.

Both use the account you already have. Neither asks for a new password, and neither is a different product.

AVAILABLE NOW

Install it in your browser

No download, no installer, nothing to keep up to date. The browser puts its own icon in the Dock and opens the workspace in a window with no address bar and no tabs.

Where it works
Chrome and Edge on macOS or Windows, Safari 17+ on macOS, Safari and Chrome on iPhone, iPad and Android
What you get
A Dock icon, its own window, the same login you use on the site
What it is not
A native app: no menu-bar extras, and it still needs a connection
MACOS 14.0+

The Mac build

A single window holding GlobalPetIndex, JustForPetStore and PetIn — sign in once and all three are signed in.

QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING

Before you install anything.

Why is PetIn not in the App Store?

Because a store listing would have to be reviewed as a separate product with its own account system, and the workspace already runs on the web. The Mac build is distributed directly, signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarised, which is the same trust check App Store review performs — it just does not require us to fork the product.

Does the Mac build get my password?

No. It signs you in with an application password that you create at GlobalPetIndex and can revoke from the same page at any time. Your account password is never stored, and revoking the application password signs the app out on its next request.

Do I need three logins for the three sites?

No. Sign in once and the app opens GlobalPetIndex, JustForPetStore and PetIn already signed in. If the same email has no JustForPetStore account, that tab stops at its login page rather than pretending otherwise.

How do I remove it?

Browser install: right-click the Dock icon and choose Remove from Dock, then delete it from Applications if it was placed there. Mac build: drag PetIn to the Trash. Nothing is left behind except the application password, which you revoke on the GlobalPetIndex account page.

Does it work without a connection?

No, and this page will not claim otherwise. Neither route caches the workspace for offline use: both load the live site, so an offline window is an empty one. If a screen has nothing to show, it says so instead of showing a zero.
