GPI COMPANY DATA

Pet industry companies by country and category

A category only becomes a sourcing option where a country actually holds suppliers for it. These pages map 9 product categories against 82 countries, using 22,111 tagged company records from the GlobalPetIndex database, and publish a breakdown wherever at least 10 companies carry the tag — 106 country and category pages in total.

Start from a category if you know what you want to buy, or from a country page if you already have a shortlist of markets.

About this data

Counts come from the GlobalPetIndex company database, where each company carries one or more industry-category tags and therefore appears under several categories. Only published records are counted, and figures reflect the database as of 2026-10-30 00:41 UTC. Only 19.8% of the 111,618 published companies in the directory carry an industry-category tag at all, which is why the category counts are a floor rather than a census. Pages are published only where at least 10 companies carry the tag: combinations below that are left out on purpose rather than filled with generic copy, because a page saying “one company” is worse than no page at all.
